60 minute 'top up' behaviour session (you will need to have completed a Behaviour Consultation before booking individual sessions)
If you are struggling with a behavioural issue, it is important that you get in help and address it quickly. Too often we see things escalate and end in a heart breaking situations where the dog needs to be re-homed.
We don't offer quick fixes, but we do offer a systematic strategy of behavioural modification to tackle the underlying issues. All our modification is positive and force free to promote confidence and resilience in your dog. Often behaviours come from a place of anxiety - we are looking to change your dog's view of these situations and learn better coping strategies.
Common areas we cover:
Aggression, resource guarding (food, objects, people, space), fears and phobias, dog or people reactivity, separation anxiety
All of our behaviour support given is in line with latest scientific research on dog behaviour. We are accredited with the IMDT, vet recommended, fully insured and members of ICAN and the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter
Jessica personally fosters dogs with behavioural issues that have led to them being relinquished and so understands first hand, the practicalities of actually living with really challenging dogs day in day out. She has personally lived with dogs displaying the behaviours we cover and so can offer the latest training methods alongside practical hands on experience.
Sessions are available both online and in person and we can chat through the best combination that will work for you and your dog.
