Kinder for the environment

A 2020 study by Sussex university showed that 98% of fresh water tested was contaminated with pesticides like fibronil. These are banned in agricultural use so are finding their way into water ways from our cats and dogs that are being treated with strong chemical flea treatments.

A standard flea treatment can contain enough pesticide to kill 60 million bees! The impact of even a small amount being transferred is worrying for local wildlife

We understand that in some instances, strong pesticides can be the most effective solution to kill parasites quickly. However, using natural alternatives on a regular basis as a prevention will have a huge impact in helping to look after your dog and the environment.

CASE STUDY

Charlie, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Nottinghamshire

“Charlie was my first dog. I was signed up to every treatment going with my vet. I never saw a single flea on him, yet I would religiously apply spot on treatments every month. He would run and hide from the pipette. After he had a reaction to a routine vaccination I started to do some of my own research. I worried about the amount of chemicals that I was putting in his system every month between the treatments and processed foods that he was refusing to eat. When I changed his diet to raw and put him onto natural treatments the change was instant.”
